Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Anaheim, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Anaheim is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Anaheim is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Terrible customer service by the girls working. They made me feel like an inconvenience for coming in for food. I told the girls it was my first time here, and they werenβt welcoming whatsoever. They did not explain anything about the restaurant or the ordering methods to me. The most annoying part of the whole interaction is that they kept chatting with each other as I was trying to order. As for the food, the rice was old and cold. The only redeeming quality about the poke bowl that I got was that the fish and the sauces were yummy. You donβt always get a legitimately spicy Spicy Mayo sauce, so it was refreshing to taste the one here. I have a bone to pick about the half/half bases. I asked for half white rice and half wonton chips, because they are both base options. But, for some reason, you canβt have those two specific bases together?! There needs to be some fine print on the menu that states this. The cherry on top was how musty the restaurant was. It was hot inside and smelled unappetizing. I feel like I didnβt get anything I wanted out of this whole interaction at this establishment. Iβll never go back. And I encourage anybody that has high standards for poke to never go

Poke β β β β β My Math Skills β ββββ Toppings. All of them. Pokinometry: this is where your βsimple bowlβ plan disappears real fast π You walk in thinking one proteinβ¦ next thing you know youβre adding everything. Super fresh, tons of options, and somehow it always works. The wonton base is so addictive it keeps bringing me back!

I don't write bad reviews just out of spite or for now reason. Don't drink the tap water. It's like they never cleaned it since day one. I had a sip of water and it was so bad I had to pour out the water instantly and almost spat it out. I am no where near picky about water but this taste like there is mold in the lines. I got a small amount of soda to wash the taste out of my of my mouth. The manager saw me gave me a look but didn't say anything. The next time I came in the manager saw me come to the front of the line and then acted busy doing some other work not helping me. After I was served and paid my bill. The manager tells then person who rang me up, if he takes a water and fills it with soda, charge him. I replied, "The only reason I took soda last time was because the water is disgusting, you should clean your lines." His response was we are a mom and pop place, and you can buy a water bottle. I've been coming here for months but no longer, neither will any of my friends.
